ALLEVIATE POVERTY THROUGH TOURISM
VISION
To be a nationally recognized brand promoting previously disadvantaged individuals (PDI).
Tourism products within the Buffalo City Municipality (BCM) and surrounding areas making a visible impact in tourism development through exclusive membership.
MISSION
Promote continued tourism product development initiatives particularly in rural areas, facilitates consistency of standards, quality, perfomance, and service levels within the product categories through accreditation systems, capacity building, interventions, linkages and networks, cross-business referrals among members thus creating a strong sense of pride and ownership as well as culture of interdependence and unity leading to long term sustainability.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
  • Develop Isongololo brand, corporate identity, product quality assurance, grading and accreditation system
  • To promote, capacitate and develop Isongololo.
  • To create jobs in Tourism.
  • To be the custodians of Tourism in Buffalo City.
  • To create platforms and showcase growing / emerging tourism products.
